1. Who These Guidelines Apply To

Finito Medicine lets medical students publish flash card sets to a shared library and leave comments and ratings on other students' sets. Everything you publish there is user-generated content and is covered by these Guidelines, together with our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Private study material โ€” your own sets, chats with the AI tutor and voice notes โ€” is never published to the community library and is not affected by these rules.

Finito Medicine is intended for users aged 18 and older. By publishing to the shared library you confirm you meet that requirement.

2. What Is Not Allowed

You may not publish a flash card set, set title, description or comment that contains:

  • Offensive or abusive content โ€” insults, slurs, hate speech, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
  • Harassment or bullying โ€” targeting a specific person or institution, threats, intimidation, or encouraging others to do the same.
  • Sexual or explicit content โ€” pornographic material or sexualised imagery. Clinical anatomy, reproductive medicine, obstetrics and sexual health are legitimate subjects and are welcome when presented in an educational, non-gratuitous way.
  • Graphic content without educational purpose โ€” shock imagery. Clinical and pathology images are allowed when they serve the learning objective of the set.
  • Patient data โ€” never publish real patient names, identifiers, dates of birth, record numbers, or any image or history that could identify a real person. De-identify every case before sharing it.
  • Dangerous or incorrect medical information โ€” content that could cause harm if a student relied on it, such as incorrect drug doses, fabricated guidelines, or unsafe clinical procedures.
  • Copyright infringement โ€” verbatim copies of textbooks, question banks, lecture slides, paid courses or exam papers you do not have the right to distribute.
  • Exam material under embargo โ€” live or recalled questions from licensing or university exams.
  • Spam, advertising or fraud โ€” promotional sets, referral links, phishing, malware links, or impersonating another person, institution or Finito Medicine itself.
  • Illegal content โ€” anything unlawful where you or your readers are located.

3. What Good Content Looks Like

  • Write your own cards, or rewrite source material in your own words.
  • Give the set an accurate title, category and language so others can find it.
  • Cite the guideline, textbook or paper a clinical claim comes from.
  • Keep comments about the content, not about the person who made it.
  • Correct your set when someone points out a factual error.

Shared sets are study aids made by students. They are not medical advice and must not be used to guide the care of a real patient.

4. Reporting Content

Every shared set and every comment can be reported from inside the app:

  1. Open the shared set, or find the comment you want to report.
  2. Tap the โ‹ฎ menu โ€” in the top-right of the set screen, or on the right of the comment.
  3. Choose Report content, pick a reason, and add any detail that helps us understand the problem.

You can also email support@finitoai.app with a link or screenshot. Copyright owners should include proof of ownership and the exact set involved so we can act on it.

5. Blocking Someone

The same โ‹ฎ menu has a Block option. Blocking someone hides all of their shared sets and all of their comments from you immediately โ€” including in search โ€” and takes effect the moment you confirm it.

Blocking is private: the blocked person is not notified. You can see everyone you have blocked, and lift any block, under Settings โ†’ Blocked Users.

6. How We Respond

We review every report within 24 hours of receiving it. Depending on what we find, we may:

  • leave the content in place, if it does not breach these Guidelines;
  • remove the set or comment from the shared library;
  • remove the ability to publish to the library;
  • suspend or terminate the account.

Content that is clearly unlawful, sexually exploitative, or that exposes patient data is removed on sight and the account is terminated without warning. Repeated breaches of any kind lead to a permanent ban.

Removing a set from the shared library does not delete it from the author's own account, and it does not remove copies other students already imported into their private collections.

7. Appeals

If you believe we removed your content or restricted your account in error, email support@finitoai.app from the address on your account, with the name of the set or a screenshot of the comment. We will look at it again and reply with a decision.

8. Removing Your Own Content

You can unshare any set you published at any time, which withdraws it from the shared library. Deleting your account from Settings โ†’ Delete Account removes your account and the content associated with it, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines as the community grows or as legal requirements change. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continued use of the shared library after a change means you accept it.
